Privacy policy

This privacy policy explains how 4R Group FZCO ("we", "us", "our") collects, uses, and protects personal data submitted through 4r-group.com. We act as the data controller for the personal data described below and process it in line with UAE Federal Decree-Law No. 45 of 2021 on the Protection of Personal Data ("PDPL") and applicable free-zone data-protection regimes.

1. Data we collect
Through the contact form we collect: full name, company name, destination country, product category of interest, and the free-text brief you submit. We may also collect server-side technical data (IP address, user-agent, page accessed) for security and analytics purposes.
2. How we use your data
We use the data you submit to respond to your enquiry, prepare commercial proposals, perform basic counterparty diligence, and maintain records of business correspondence. We do not sell your data and do not use it for unrelated marketing without your separate consent.
3. Legal basis
We process personal data on the basis of your consent (form submission), our legitimate interest in conducting business correspondence with prospective counterparties, and where applicable, the necessity to take steps prior to entering into a contract.
4. Sharing with third parties
We may share your data with: (i) our group entity BIOL Pty Ltd (Australia) where the enquiry concerns ANZ origin; (ii) regulated UAE banking partners where required for documentary credit; (iii) regulators and auditors where legally compelled. We do not transfer data to any other commercial third party without your prior consent.
5. Cross-border transfers
Our group operates across the UAE, Australia, and Hong Kong. Where personal data is transferred outside the UAE, we rely on adequacy where available and on appropriate safeguards (contractual commitments, intra-group data-sharing agreement) elsewhere, in line with PDPL Articles 22–24.
6. Retention
Enquiry records are retained for a maximum of seven (7) years from last contact, in line with UAE commercial-record-keeping practice. Data is deleted or anonymised when no longer needed for the purposes above.
7. Your rights
Subject to PDPL Articles 13–20, you have the right to access, correct, restrict, or request deletion of your personal data; to withdraw consent; to object to processing; and to receive your data in a portable format. To exercise these rights, contact us using the details below.
8. Security
We apply organisational and technical measures appropriate to the sensitivity of business correspondence: access controls, encryption in transit, audited mailbox infrastructure (Apple iCloud), and regular review of administrator access.
9. Cookies
This site uses only strictly necessary cookies (locale preference, anti-bot tokens). We do not use advertising or third-party tracking cookies. No consent banner is required under our current configuration.
